Japan’s Ayurveda Ambassador and Team Embark on an Intensive Ayurvedic Training in Sri Lanka
For an immersive two-week Ayurvedic training, Ms. Minami Kadowaki, Japan’s Ayurveda Ambassador , and a delegation of 15 members settle in at the Karunakarala Resort in Sri Lanka.
The training participants, who have previously completed 80 hours of Ayurveda theory through an online course provided by the Karunakarala Ayurveda & Yoga Institute, are set to deepen their understanding of Ayurveda through this comprehensive and practical on-site training in the lush surroundings of the resort. A blend of theory and hands-on practices will enrich their knowledge and skills, bridging traditional Ayurvedic methods with modern wellness approaches.
On October 14th, the last day of the training, a “Karunakarala Ayurveda & Yoga Institute 3rd Anniversary Celebration” and a “Certificate Ceremony” will be held. Participants will be recognized and awarded certificates in a ceremony that acknowledges their dedication and expertise in Ayurveda.
Karunakarala Ayurveda & Yoga Institute, a private Ayurveda education institute, holds the distinctive title of being the only Ayurveda education institution in Japan officially recognized by the Sri Lankan Department of Ayurveda. Moreover, it currently collaborates with the University of Colombo in implementing its educational curriculum. In its ongoing commitment to propagate authentic Sri Lankan Ayurveda and deepen international relations and friendships between Japan and Sri Lanka, our resort and institute continues to stride forward with purpose and passion.

日本スリランカアーユルヴェーダ大使とそのチームがアーユルヴェーダ研修でスリランカへ
スリランカでの2週間のアーユルヴェーダ実地研修のため、日本のスリランカのアーユルヴェーダ・土着医学のプロモーション大使である門脇みな美氏と研修メンバー15名がカルナカララ アーユルヴェーダ リゾートに滞在します。
研修メンバーは、カルナカララ アーユルヴェーダ＆ヨガインスティテュートによる80時間のアーユルヴェーダ理論講座をオンラインで受講しており、今回の2週間の現地研修ではより本格的・実践的なアーユルヴェーダを学びます。
研修最終日10月14日には「カルナカララ アーユルヴェーダ＆ヨガインスティテュート創立3周年記念祝典」と「修了証授与式」も実施予定です。
カルナカララ アーユルヴェーダ＆ヨガインスティテュートは、スリランカ政府アーユルヴェーダ省から正式に認可を受けた私立アーユルヴェーダ教育機関であり、現在はコロンボ大学とも提携して教育カリキュラムを実施しています。
日本で唯一のスリランカ政府公認アーユルヴェーダ教育機関として、正しいスリランカアーユルヴェーダの普及と、日本スリランカ間の国際関係の親交を深めるため邁進していきます。
