The 2nd anniversary and the award giving ceremony of Karunakarala Ayurveda & Yoga Institute was held in the Sri Lanka Embassy in Japan on 22nd October 2022.
Dr. Kaumadi Karunagoda and Colonel Thusitha Jayarathne participated in the event as special guest’s from Sri Lanka.
Deputy Ambassador Mrs. Sesath Thambugala, 1st Secretary of Sri Lanka Embassy Mr. Kapila Kumara, Adviser to the Sri Lanka Business Council Mr.Jagath Ramanayake, President of Sri Lanka Automobile Association Mr. Wiraj De Zoysa, Vice President of Sri Lanka Association in Japan Mr. Anil Priyantha Gamaethige and Mr. Navin Lakmal from Sri Lanka Professional Association in Japan joined the event.
Special message from Mr Sisira Jayakodi, the minister of Ayurveda, was received at the event.
Up to now 286 Japanese students have joined the courses and 113 have received their diploma certificates.
