On 13 October 2025, the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine at the University of Colombo held the certificate awarding ceremony for the second batch of the Short Internship Training Programme in Wellness Tourism.
This programme is conducted under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the University of Colombo and Karunakarala Ayurveda Resort in August 2023.
Fourteen students from the second batch received their certificates.
A total of 105 students participated in the first programme and 36 in the second, of whom 14 successfully fulfilled all requirements for completion.
The aim of the programme is to deepen knowledge, practical skills and hospitality in Ayurveda-based wellness tourism.
Through this collaboration, the university and our resort continue to contribute to the promotion of Ayurveda and the development of future professionals in Sri Lanka and internationally.

2025年10月13日、コロンボ大学（University of Colombo）アーユルヴェーダ学部にて、
「ウェルネスツーリズム短期インターンシップ・トレーニングプログラム」の修了証授与式が行われました。
本プログラムは、当リゾートと同大学との間で2023年8月に締結されたMOU（協力覚書）に基づき実施されています。
今回修了証を受け取ったのは第2期の14名です。
第1期では105名、第2期では36名が研修を受講し、そのうち14名が修了の基準を満たしました。
本プログラムは、アーユルヴェーダに基づくウェルネスツーリズムにおける知識・実践・ホスピタリティの理解を深めることを目的としています。
また、大学と当リゾートが連携し、国内外におけるアーユルヴェーダの普及と人材育成にも取り組んでいます。

Am 13. Oktober 2025 fand an der Fakultät für traditionelle Medizin der University of Colombo die Zertifikatsverleihung für die zweite Gruppe des Short Internship Training Programme in Wellness Tourism statt.
Das Programm basiert auf dem Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), das im August 2023 zwischen der Universität und dem Karunakarala Ayurveda Resort unterzeichnet wurde.
Vierzehn Studierende der zweiten Gruppe erhielten ihr Zertifikat.
In der ersten Gruppe nahmen 105 Studierende teil, in der zweiten 36 – davon haben diese 14 alle Abschlussanforderungen erfüllt.
Ziel des Programms ist es, Wissen, praktische Fähigkeiten und Gastfreundschaft im Bereich des ayurvedabasierten Wellnesstourismus zu vertiefen.
Durch diese Zusammenarbeit fördern die Universität und unser Resort die Verbreitung von Ayurveda und die Ausbildung zukünftiger Fachkräfte in Sri Lanka und weltweit.
