Partnership with University of Colombo for Internship Program and Herbal Product Development
Karunakarala Ayurveda & Yoga Institute and the University of Colombo have announced a groundbreaking collaboration that will revolutionize the world of Ayurveda in Sri Lanka and beyond. Starting September 2023, the prestigious Karunakarala Ayurveda Resort will begin accepting internships for Ayurveda medical students from the University of Colombo. With plans to onboard up to 100 students within the first year, this marks a significant stride in their mutual commitment to fostering the next generation of Ayurveda practitioners.
The partnership is a result of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the two esteemed institutions, designed to amplify the synergy between traditional Ayurvedic practices and academic research.
But the alliance does not stop at education. Leveraging the combined knowledge and resources of both the University of Colombo and the Karunakarala Ayurveda Resort, there are forthcoming plans to develop a diverse range of herbal drug products. This collaboration signifies an intention to bridge the gap between research-based academic knowledge and the rich tradition of Ayurveda, paving the way for cutting-edge treatments and remedies that cater to contemporary health concerns while staying true to traditional principles.
This collaboration, anticipated to inspire further initiatives in the realm of Ayurveda, positions Sri Lanka at the forefront of integrating traditional medicine with modern academic research. As both institutions embark on this journey together, the Ayurvedic community and its beneficiaries await the transformative impact this partnership promises to deliver.

コロンボ大学からのインターンシップ受け入れとハーブプロダクト開発に関するパートナーシップの締結
Karunakarala グループと国立コロンボ大学は、アーユルヴェーダ業界に新しい風をもたらす2つの素敵な取り組みを始めました。
① 国立コロンボ大学アーユルヴェーダ学部の医学生へのインターンシップの開始
2023年9月より、Karunakarala Ayurveda Resortではコロンボ大学アーユルヴェーダ学部の医学生向けのインターンシップ研修を開始しました。医学生たちはリゾートに滞在し、実際の現場でどのようにアーユルヴェーダが提供されているのかを学びます。当リゾートでは、初年度から合計約100名近くのインターンシップ生を受け入れる予定です。
このインターンシップがアーユルヴェーダ医学生たちがアーユルヴェーダの現場を知り、自身のキャリアについても考える良い機会となれば幸いです。

②国立コロンボ大学と提携したハーバルプロダクトの研究開発
Karunakarala グループでは、コロンボ大学と共同で研究開発を行い、様々なハーブプロダクトを開発予定です。
これは古き良きアーユルヴェーダの伝統と、新しい研究の知識を組み合わせ、皆様の健康をサポートするための大きな一歩となるでしょう。
