Karunakalala participated in the “Sri Lanka Festival in Kamagaya 2023” held in Kamagaya City, Chiba Prefecture on May 20th and 21st, 2023. The event, which was held for the second time this year, attracted a total of approximately 10,000 visitors over the two days.
At the Karunakarala booth, we sold herbal teas and herbal powders imported from Sri Lanka, and also experienced an Ayurvedic massage. The booth was a great success and many visitors came.
There were many shops selling authentic Sri Lankan curry, and there was also sold a King Coconut that is rarely seen in Japan.
A traditional Sri Lankan Kandyan dance was performed on the center stage, and a charity auction was held to donate stationery to underprivileged children in Sri Lanka.
Although it is not confirmed yet, there is a possibility that the 3rd will be held in May next year.

カルナカララ アーユルヴェーダ リゾートは、2023年5月20日と21日の2日間にわたり千葉県鎌ケ谷市にて開催された「スリランカフェスティバルin鎌ケ谷2023」に出店いたしました！
今年で2回目の開催となった当イベントは2日間で合計約1万人以上のご来場者ありました。
カルナカララブースでは本場スリランカから輸入したハーブティーやハーブパウダーの販売、そしてアーユルヴェーダマッサージ体験を行い、これまた大盛況。
ブースに来ていただいた皆様、本当にありがとうございました！
本場スリランカカレーのレストランも何店舗も出店していてお店毎の個性が楽しめたり、日本ではなかなかお目にかかれないキングココナッツの販売などの見どころもたくさん。中央ステージではスリランカの伝統的なキャンディアンダンスや、スリランカの恵まれない子どもたちに文房具を寄付するためのチャリティーオークションなども開催されていました。
まだ確定ではありませんが、来年5月ごろに第3回の開催があるかも？とのことです。
その際は皆さんぜひ奮ってお越しください！
