The Karunakarala Ayurveda Resort is proud to have supported the Sri Lanka Festival in Kamagaya, held on May 17th and 18th, 2025, at the Kamagaya City Office Parking Park.
This vibrant and colorful celebration of Sri Lankan culture in Japan was a powerful symbol of friendship and cultural exchange between our two nations.
Organized by the Sri Lanka Association and SLBCJ (Sri Lanka Business Council of Japan), the festival was made possible with the kind support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the Sri Lanka Embassy in Japan, and Kamagaya City.

🌿 Special Recognition:
The event was gracefully coordinated by Sri Lanka Ayurveda Ambassador Ms. Minami Kadowaki, and chaired by Mr. Saman Priyankara, Senior Advisor to SLAJ and SLBCJ, and also the Chairman of Karunakarala Group. Their leadership was instrumental in ensuring the festival’s success.
🎙️ Adding an extra spark to the stage
Popular announcers Ms. Akisawa Junko from TBS and Mr. Navin from JVAMIC kept the audience engaged with energy and enthusiasm throughout the weekend.
From traditional dance performances and music to flavorful Sri Lankan cuisine and warm community interactions, the festival was a heartfelt showcase of Sri Lanka’s rich heritage.
