Karunakarala Ayurveda Resort Celebrates 10th Anniversary in Sri Lanka

Karunakarala Ayurveda Resort celebrated its 10th anniversary on 7 July 2026 at its premises in Waikkal, Sri Lanka.

Mr Naoaki Kamoshida, Acting Ambassador of Japan to Sri Lanka, attended as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by Mr Sanjaya Niroshana, Managing Director of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau, Professor Pathirage Kamal Perera, Professor Kaumadi Karunagoda, and other distinguished guests.

Employees who completed ten years of service were honoured in recognition of their dedication and long-standing service. Former doctors and staff members also joined the celebration, including Dr Shermila Haleem, who travelled from the United Kingdom to attend the event.

The anniversary was an opportunity to reflect on the resort's journey over the past decade and to express sincere gratitude to its staff, guests, doctors, business partners, and supporters for their continued trust and support.
