Sustainability
We ground our operations in a circular model—growing forests / reducing single-use items / turning waste into resources / powering with the sun—so that what we do today does not burden the future.

Reforestation
We have planted and tended a variety of trees on the once arid, barren land around the resort. The trees have flourished, becoming a beautiful jungle now home to many birds, squirrels, and other wildlife. Guests can often spot these animals and spend time accompanied by their music-like birdsong.

Plastic-Free
Since 2022, we have been reducing single-use plastics across the resort. In guest rooms, PET bottles have been eliminated; drinking water is provided in reusable glass bottles.

Waste Reduction
Kitchen scraps are repurposed as livestock feed and as fertilizer for our on-site garden. This supports the cultivation of high-quality, nutrient-rich organic vegetables and reduces combustible waste—and the associated greenhouse-gas emissions.

Solar Power
In 2023, with support from Japan’s Campfire crowdfunding platform, we installed a 120 kWp solar system on the property. Today it generates nearly 100% of the resort’s electricity needs, enabling us to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.
