Karunakarala Ayurveda Spa & Resort, accompanying by Sri Lanka Tourist Board and Embassy Of Sri Lanka in Japan participated in Japan Tourism Expo 2017 (JATA) festival from 21st to 24th September at the Tokyo Big Sight. Thousands of individuals and tour operators participated in the event. At the event, Karunakarala Ayurveda Spa & Resort arranged several mini-workshops for the visitors and had a very good response for our eco-friendly Ayurveda tour packages.
Karunakarala Ayurveda Spa & Resort has started a basic Ayurveda training program for Ayurveda enthusiasts. Principals of Ayurveda and Ayurveda Treatments are taught by a Ayurveda doctor during the six day program.

People who wish to visit Karunakarala Ayurveda Spa Resort Sri Lanka for ayurvedic treatments, now, can get their initial consultation done at the Karunakarala Ayurveda Spa & Salon in Daikanyama, Tokyo. The consultation will be done by a Aurveda doctor.
You will be assisted by a Japanese interpreter throughout the consultation process and he will further explain you about Ayurveda,medical examination, treatment details, schedule etc. It will make your stay at the resort more convenient.
In addition to the consultation, Karunakarala Ayurveda Spa & Salon will provide you you with a set of herbal items that will prepare your body for treatments at the resort in Sri Lanka.
You don’t have to take a long consultation at the resort if you have already done it at the Tokyo salon. You can start treatments immediately at the resort.
If you wish, you can get a final consultation done at the Tokyo salon after returning to Japan.

Karunakarala Ayurveda Spa & Resort was declared open by the former president of Sri Lanka Hon. Mahinda Rajapakshe on 9th July 2016. Parliamentarians Mr. Wimal Weerawansa, Mr. Rohitha Abegurawardhana, Mr. Sanath Nishantha, Mr. Janaka Wakkubura, Mayor Danasiri Amarathunga, First Secretary of the Japanese Embassy Mr. Iwase and several other government officers were also among the distinguished guests at the opening ceremony.
Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksha who stayed the first night in the resort planted a ‘Bo’ tree on the premises as a souvenir.
